You'll Be A Stranger Only Once!

Community Information

WHY COME TO GRENORA?

"Friendliness lives here; you'll be a stranger only once", Grenora's motto, exemplifies the caring and nurturing nature of this community.

This neat, attractive community, tucked into the northwest corner of North Dakota, with easy attractions in Montana, North Dakota, and Canada, is well-maintained and has appeal for all ages. The elderly enjoy an active senior citizen's center and community-built low- income housing. The young are attracted to the recreation programs and excellent K through 12 school facility. All ages take advantage of the Grenora Golf Club, The Grenora Gun Club, and the exceptional upland game and deer hunting opportunities.

Grenora area residents take great pride in creating a viable business atmosphere through the Grenora Development Corporation. This corporation has built a bowling alley, restaurant, and apartment buildings and is ready to lend a helping hand to a business venture. An excellent labor pool exists, ranging from senior citizens needing supplemental income to young people hoping for full time employment.
